Man who staged anti-EndSARS protest in Abuja weds his fiancée
Yusuf Ahmadu Yunusa, a young man who staged a protest against EndSARS protesters in Abuja, is tying the knot with his fiancée today.
Recall that he led a group of protesters under the aegis of the Indigenous people of the Federal Capital Territory in October 2020 as they stormed the Force Headquarters, demanding #EndSARS protesters to vacate major roads in Abuja, lamenting how the continued protests have led to the disruption of economic and social activities in the nation’s capital.
“We the members of the Indigenous People of the FCT wish to express our unreserved displeasure and anger at the blockade of our roads and the disruption of economic activity.
“We write to express our offense, our disgust and our anger at the activities of these so called EndSARS protesters and their blockage of roads, tributaries that function for the economic activities of the FCT residents, not to mention the needless loss of lives.” his released statement read in part.
Months after the event, Yunusa is now set to walk down the aisle with his heartthrob at a wedding ceremony in Abuja.
The couple’s pre-wedding photos and wedding invitation have been circulating on social media. According to reports, the court wedding has already been done
